Raymond Glasenberg, MD
Scientist-in-Residence

Dr. Glassenberg is a
graduate of Northwestern University (B.A.).
He obtained his medical degree from The University of Illinois
at Chicago College of Medicine and performed his residency
at The McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University where
he also had a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Critical
Care Medicine.
In 2002 Dr. Glassenberg was the recipient of the SOAP Teaching
Award.
His areas of academic interest include:
• Difficult intubation
• Virtual reality for teaching
intubation
• Computer modeling of oxygen
exchange across the
placenta
• Failed intubation in different
surgical populations
• Incidence of emergency hysterectomy |
