Albert Beran

International Director Sales & Marketing

Mr. Albert Beran is Director of Sales and Marketing for San Francisco Science™.

A graduate of the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland with a degree in Physical Therapy and Reeducation (1975), Mr. Beran practiced Physical Therapy in medical and surgical departments at the University Hospital. During this time he also held a number of managerial and administrative positions within the University Hospital.

Before joining San Francisco Science™, Mr. Beran was International Marketing Manager for American Medical Systems Inc. He developed and coordinated AMS' marketing programs for Europe, the Middle East and Africa while directing the AMS sales force. He also assisted in the formulation of annual and strategic marketing plans, the integration of these plans with the AMS global marketing strategy and the implementation of these programs in the International markets.

Mr. Beran's extensive experience and knowledge of the market and industry as well as his entrepreneurial drive, enabled him to lead a start-up company in 1999 and take it through its initial paces. He served as Global Director of Sales and Marketing for Andromis S.A., a medical start-up in the field of endoscopy. In his new role, he identified and established distribution channels for the company's new devices and set-up training of its sales force. Mr. Beran successfully launched the company's products in Europe and the Middle East.
